Quote1 What a pathetic display! All those years I dreamt of vengeance, and now I realize he's not even worthy of my revenge. The past is dead, and right now I have more important things to do. Quote2

HistoryEdit

Sternum was the former Emperor of Planet Bone. He was worried that his little brother Femur was second-in-line for the throne, so he tried to have Femur executed. Femur bribed his guards to spare him, then convinced Pelvus to serve Sternum a poisoned drink. This allowed Femur to snag the throne and send Sternum to the Prison Planet.
After being subjected to various tortures there, Sternum led a successful revolt that freed him and his fellow inmates from their guards and resulted in him finding and taking control of the planet's Teleport Engines. He became the leader of one of the planet's two major factions of prisoners, while the other was led by the psychotic Jewelia. They engaged in a war for control of the planet that resulted in heavy casualties on both sides.
After Jade, Femur, Graveheart, and Cryos crash-landed onto the Prison Planet, Sternum came to respect Jade and Graveheart, forgive Femur, and ultimately defeat Jewelia. Unfortunately, when they and Jewelia used the telepod to escape to Rock, the Beast Planet had grasped onto the Prison Planet. Sternum had no choice but to teleport it, and the Beast, away. After punching Jewelia out, he lamented the loss of his home.
Later, Sternum visited Pelvus at the Clavicle, asking for cannolis and information on the Alliance's strengths and weaknesses. Soon afterwards, Femur and Pelvus went to see him again, with the cannolis. They apparently reconciled, as the three smiled when Sternum patted them on the shoulder during Graveheart's final speech.
